October meeting of the Seminar on the theory, history and historiography of international relations was dedicated to the theme of South Africa's Nuclear History.

September meeting of the Seminar on the theory, history and historiography of international relations was dedicated to the theme of biopolitics. The guest presenters were Andrey Makarychev (University of Tartu) and Alexandra Yatsyk (University of Uppsala).

May session of the Seminar on the theory, history and historiography of international relations was dedicated to the presentation on "The Secret History of the 1983 Able Archer 83 Nuclear War Scare", the book of Nate Jones, the Director of the Freedom of Information Act Project for the National Security Archive at George Washington University and the Odessa State University's Nuclear Proliferation International History Project international research fellow. The meeting was host by the Odessa House of Scientists on May 31, 2017.

March session of the Seminar on the theory, history and historiography of international relations was held at the Odessa House of Scientists on the topic "Evolution of the "Diaspora" concept in the international relations".

February 24, 2017 the regular meeting of the Odessa Standing Group on Theory, History and Historiography of the International Relations was conducted on Foreign Policy of the Trump Administration: the first month, the first impressions.

November session of the Seminar on the theory, history and historiography of international relations was held at the Odessa House of Scientists on the topic "NATO's nuclear strategy: conceptual changes or changing circumstances?". The report was presented by the second year graduate student Tetiana Melnyk.

On October 26, 2016 Odessa House of Scientists hosted a regular meeting of the Odessa Standing Group on Theory, History and Historiography. Professor of the I.I. Mechnikov University Olga Brusylovska and PhD student Yana Kolesnik presented their reports after their participation at the Congress of the International Association of Political Sciences in Poznan.
