Black Sea Region in World Policy: Actors, Factors, and Scenarios of the Future / Ed. by O.Brusylovska, V. Dubovyk, & І.Koval. Odesa: Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University, 2020.

The monograph examines the problems of the Black Sea region and draws a conclusion regarding the acquisition of the term BSR in a purely geographical sense; for the BSR countries, belonging to the subsystems (South Caucasus, New Eastern Europe, Central Eastern Europe, and South Western Europe) is more important than to the BSR system. The explanation is the degree of increasing danger in relations between neighboring countries; the multiplicity of nodes of contradictions has a negative effect on the small countries of the region. The dysfunction of the Black Sea Region objectively affects the dysfunction of Ukrainian politics. In the future, the development of the region will be determined by Turkey and Russia, which will be all the more successful the less coordinated the policies of the EU and NATO are. Under these conditions, the scenario of cooperation between Turkey and China may become the most acceptable for most Black Sea actors.
