The Center's Director Volodymyr Dubovyk has went on a visit to Norway in January-February 2019.

He has visited, at first, the Center's partner institution - Center for Peace Studies, University of Tromso. For the last two plus years the Center for International Studies has worked with that insitution, and the others, within the "Eurasian peace studies exchange" project. The project is designed to look at the issues of war and peace in the post-Soviet Eurasian space from a multi-disciplinary cross-border perspective.

During his visit to Tromso V. Dubovyk has met with his colleagues there, worked in the library, discussed the future cooperation and delivered a public talk analyzing the various aspects of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

In Oslo V. Dubovyk has delivered a briefing on situation in and around Ukraine at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), which was attended by experts from this institute, University of Oslo and from the Ministry of foreign affairs of Norway.

He also had a meeting with an Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway Vyacheslav Yatsiuk.
