Director of the Center V. Dubovyk has conducted a special workshop entitled “NATO, the United States and the crisis in Ukraine”.

The workshop took place on Monday, 25 January 2016 King's College, Cambridge University and went for full four hours. It was hosted by Cambridge Ukrainian Studies. The participants have come to include 15 graduate students and early career researchers from all over United Kingdom.

 

Also, on Monday 25 January 2016 Prof. V. Dubovyk gave a public lecture on “Odesa in a Time of Revolution, War and Reform”. It took place at the Clare College, Cambridge University.

Since the appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as regional governor, Odesa has become an epicentre of Ukraine’s political reform. Prof. V. Dubovyk spoke about Odesa as a prism through which to analyze Ukraine’s experience of revolution and war and its ongoing struggle with corruption.
