The meeting of the discussion club "EU, NATO... What could enhance security of Ukraine?" has taken place in Odesa on November 14, 2014.

There is still a lot of interest in situation in and around Ukraine in the United States (despite some other trending subjects such as fight against Islamic State, Ebola, recent elections here). To satisfy this interest V. Dubovyk was in the process of giving four lectures in a matter of just four days.

Volodymyr Dubovyk made presentation "Ukraine crisis: view from Odessa" at W. Wilson Center, Washington, DC on September 22.

Dubovyk had a talk on situation in and around Ukraine at the University of Colorado, Boulder on September 19th. It was very well attended - there is clearly an interest in this country to what is going on in Ukraine.

A meeting of experts from different regions of Ukraine with representatives of leading European research institutions "For sustainable democratic Ukraine" was organized by the Institute of World Policy in Kiev.

Pro-Russian separatism in Ukraine came into violent forms and resulted in the armed conflict in Donbas.

Volodymyr Dubovyk (Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University) as a special guest has spoken at the roundtable "Negotiating new paths: Poland, Ukraine, Russia and EU" at Wayne State University (Detroit) on March 25, 2014.

Mechnikov National University), Petro Burkovskiy (National Institute of Strategic Studies, Ukraine) and Oleksandr Fisun (Kharkiv V.
