The roundtable “Problems of information security and European integration of Ukraine” has taken place at Odesa I. Mechnikov National University today, on April 10th, 2014. The Foundation “Democratic initiatives” (Kyiv), Center for International Studies of the Mechnikov University and National Information Agency Ukrinform were among its co-organizers.

Odessa’s analysts, economists, environmentalists, expert in international relations have initiated the public movement "Expert Control". This initiative aims to promote more active participation of experts from various fields to work out recommendations for central, regional and local authorities.

The action in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity had been held today at the humanitarian building of the Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University. The representatives from various university departments have taken part. This action took form of a press-conference. Participants spoke through Odessa media outlets to the city residents to express their position. The position is that Ukraine should be preserved as a single and unified state.
